It is a great place to keep and carry an ipad 3. We have a cover and a gell case on it and it still fits, although snugly
It is heavy enough leather to really protect the ipad from shock and drops of rain water (although not waterproof) It is good looking also!

Fits nicely and fairly easy removal. Could use a cutout on front of case for thumb to lift out easier.
Strap good idea. Would like a loop attached to side of case at indent, to slip last 2 inches of it under the loop, to keep it out of the way when not in use.
Love the appearance and quality workmanship.
